5 Extreme Sports For Adrenaline Junkies

November 4, 2019Lifestyle Standard

There’s never a bad time to get a good dose of adrenaline in your life, and there are plenty of risky sports that will get you on to the next big high.  If you already know that you’re fond of the feeling you get when your adrenaline takes over your body, then you’re likely always looking for your next fix.

Take some time now to add a few things to your bucket list.  Read through a brief summary, featuring a few extreme sports that will have you feeling like you’re on the edge of life.

Drag racing at the track

Drag racing at the track is a legal way to put the pedal to the metal.  You don’t want to take the risk or liability of a car accident because you were street racing.  Stick to the track.

The danger of driving at high speeds is still very present in a legal setting, but there are more precautions in place.  You also have immediate medical care present when you race on a track.

Jump out of an airplane

Skydiving is a great way to get high and fall really fast.  If it’s adrenaline you seek, there’s not much better than jumping out of an airplane over 10,000 feet in the air.

It’s not difficult to get certified to dive on your own, but you do have to check a few things off the task list.  You’ll need to dive in tandem for a while before you can go on your own.

Make zip lining a regular thing

Glide along a cord hundreds of feet in the air with nothing but a hardness between yourself and certain death.  You won’t find many other situations in life that induce the same internal panic.

Your body isn’t meant to fly down a rope at high speed, so you’ll likely notice an increase in heartbeat.  Granted, veteran thrill seekers may want more excitement, but ziplining is a great place to start your adventures.

Explore the depths of the Earth

Caving will test your limits in unique ways.  The darkness, the close quarters, and the uncertain paths present when caving will grant you a beautiful rush of fear.  Don’t get lost in the cracks and crevices of the Earth.

Get wise in the ways of Parkour

You don’t need any expensive equipment or a license to dive into Parkour.  Otherwise known as freerunning, you are the instrument used to champion the art of parkour.

Capitalize on the laws of physics, and learn how to get the most out of your agility.  Set up difficult and diverse courses with your friends, and challenge one another to take the next risky step.
