Blues Fans Unite

As we move further into the playoffs, you might have noticed more Blues fans than ever before. Some are just becoming more vocal as the games go on, some are brand new to the fan base, some are adopting our boys as their own have been booted to the golf course.

Regardless of how they got here, it’s always fun to have even one more person making noise FOR the Blues.

Today I’m going to show you some art from a hockey fan in general, who is trying to spread the love to Blues fans everywhere. Check out @queink on Twitter for more!

Without further ado:

Also? Brad’s post today over at Game Time was fantastic. Just bloody fantastic. Go read it!

Blues Get Smashed

Stupid Nashville. That’s FOUR losses to the Preds this season.

Gross.

As my friend Tyler said, with 42 shots on goal, our boys SHOULD have won. Kind of insane they didn’t.

Ugh, I don’t even want to talk about this one. For a lovely summary, go check out last night’s Game Time bullet points.

Losing makes me angry.

What’s Going On With The Blues?

More of this, please

No seriously. The more off days there are, the more time that’s available to sit around and speculate just what’s going on.

The fun thing about reading so many of the other Blues blogs is that you sometimes find that there’s someone else who articulated SO PERFECTLY what needed to be said. Today that someone was Gallagher over at Game Time.

I agree with that post one billion percent. Brilliantly put. Honestly, I couldn’t add a single thing to it, so I won’t even try.

So Close

We’re getting down to a point where these games ALMOST look like they matter. The roster is getting trimmed down day after day, and the team that hits the ice is starting to sound like the same team that will be doing so for the upcoming months.

I’m so ready to get started.

There’s so much to look forward to and so much to overcome. Though many of the names that will be seen on the ice are the same, it feels like a very different team to me.

There are things to be worried about, (especially Brad Lee hating the Blues), but even more than that, it’s time to be excited.

This sport that we all love so much is coming back to us. It’s like having said goodbye to an old friend for summer vacation, and we’re gearing up for the first day of school again, with our lunches packed up and our boots tied tight, not really being sure which players will be getting into fights.

We have ten days, ten days left to find out who from this list will be heading to Peoria for Marissa to affectionately dote on, and who will be in the Scottrade, trying to not awkwardly avoid the fact that Louie never wears pants.

Guys. Ten days.

LET’S GO BLUES!!
