This is going to be short because it can be. Winning 5-1 over the Blackhawks after all of the skepticism coming from up north just feels good.

Andy McDonald is a really good hockey player. Gallagher mentioned this. His play since he’s been back has absolutely blown me away. He’s gritty, he’s quick, he sees the ice well, and I absolutely love watching him play. Someone on Twitter asked if AMac scoring the goal that got everyone Big Macs was the epitome of the universe. Well, it might very well be.

A few extra notes.

The Blues have killed 32 consecutive penalties. Taking the stupid penalties in the first place is bad, but at least killing them off is good.

And. Our boys are undefeated when they score three or more goals.

It is a great time to be a Blues fan.
