Tonight is the 2012 Bears family fest! The event is going to be held at Soldier Field today, August 3rd, and tickets are available on ChicagoBears.com for only $8 (or you can buy tickets at the door for $12.)  

The event, which is sponsored by Chase, is a great opportunity for those of us who live in the city to watch our team practice without driving all the way to Bourbonnais, IL. There are promotional booths, pre-practice concerts, fireworks after the practice, access to the Bears Pro Shop, and outdoor activities that will begin at 4pm. Gates open at 5pm, and practice begins at 7pm.If you are planning on attending, remember that Lollapalooza began this afternoon, so traffic sucks and there are thousands and thousands of people (most of which are intoxicated) everywhere, but especially in the South Loop near Solider Field. Plan your commute accordingly.
