Wolfin’ It Down: Canucks Reassign 27 Players
Less than a month after being re-signed by the Canucks, goaltender Eddie Lack is headed back to the Wolves–along with 22 other Canucks, four of which spent last season in the NHL. Twelve of the players assigned to Chicago, including Lack, finished last season with the Wolves and earned the Midwest Division title as they went into the playoffs: Lack’s fellow goaltender Joe Cannata, centers Jordan Schroeder and Stefan Schneider; left wings Bill Sweatt, Anton Rodin, and Darren Archibald; right wing Andrew Gordon; and defensemen Chris Tanev, Kevin Connauton, Yann Sauve, and Adam Polasek.
Chicago will also be receiving centers Andrew Ebbett, Alexandre Mallet, Alex Friesen, and Prab Rai; left wing Steven Anthony; right wings Zach Kassian, Guillaume Desbiens, and Kellan Tochkin; and defensemen Derek Joslin, Patrick Mullen, and Peter Andersson.
