It’s hard not to love Gio Gonzalez.

The guy will willing talk to just about anybody and has one of the most happy and friendly personalities on the Nationals. To make matters even better, the #2 starter dials up the strikeouts and has solid outings. Now, he’s taking to twitter and chatting up the fans, again. But for a different reason.

Gio Gonzalez needs a date for the Dream Gala.

Now how could a guy like him have to take to the Twitter world to ask for a date? Gio hasn’t said anything else since he sent his request out (except that the date be 21 or over). Maybe he could do a raffle or something to raise money for the Foundation or another charity. Just throwing something out there.

Careful out there Gio, who knows what kind of girls are out there.
