The Doc was operating yesterday, and though it wasn’t the surgical precision that Phillie fans (and all baseball fans) have come to know, Roy Halladay has reached a milestone.
In the bottom of the first, Halladay struck out David Ross swinging to record his 2,000 career strike-out.
Doc joins the ranks of C.C. Sabathia, Andy Petitte and Kevin Millwood as the only active pitchers with 2,000+ career strike-outs.
Congratulations on your 2,000th career K!
