Seriously, I love Twitter. I know there are many people out there that don’t understand or think it’s a waste of time (Hi Dad!) But there are many fun conversations that can be had on it, including ones with former players.
This time, it was a quick conversation with ex-Phillie J.C. Romero (@JCRome16). (Just as a reminder, Romero was the pitcher on the mound during Game 5, part 2 of the ’08 WS when Chase Utley made that ridiculous play.)
He was answering questions and talking to people, and, well, I sent him a tweet that would get me a response that would make me smile.
No problem J.C. Glad I could help! (By the way, it’s now posted on the internet for all to see.)
This is when having random pieces of knowledge stuck in you head can be a lot of fun.
In conclusion, Erin Romero was a better hitter than her husband when they were both in college, and he admitted it on Twitter.

Love this so much. Baseball is more fun with twitter.
