About

You can get intellectual analysis on any old hockey blog. But where can you find the semi-coherent ranting about the Washington Capitals by a layperson? That’s right, the comments section of those blogs! But in case you want them with a rigorously spell-checked bent, you can visit VC Chillin, the Aerys Sports affiliate dedicated to the inhabitants of the Verizon Center, or at least the ones who don’t have any firearms-related controversies (yet).

VC Chillin is run by A.K. Adams, resident of Northern Virginia Loudoun County and current student at William & Mary. She is a goaltending buff and hobbyist netminder whose other interests include analysing movies and video games while casually enjoying classic literature. Any hockey discourse is relished, whether it be civilized discussions about penalty minute distribution or invective-filled rants about “why [x] sucks.” You can contact her through the Comments section or by email via akadams (at) email (dot) wm (dot) edu.

To the uninitiated, “VC Chillin” refers to the Verizon Center (also known as the Phone Booth) and the Wale song “Chillin.” This blog was two beers away from being called Five Lobsters, though, so be grateful.
