We’re not quite two weeks removed from the Super Bowl and if you’re a football fan, you might have already started to slip into an offseasonal depression. If you’re looking for some entertainment in the form of professional athletics, look no further than Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks. The guy has inspired more puns than, well, anyone I can think of off the top of my head. The NFL is catching on to the Linsanity, but I’ll get to that later…
Now, I’m sure pro football players enjoy having some time off, but some of them might have a bit too much time on their hands.
Welp, I guess I’ll take the silver lining of this one and just say at least he’s having safe sex.
Jackson’s Tweet was probably meant to be sent as a text message of direct message, but the conversation that Arian Foster cannot be brushed off as an error.
Here’s what went down last night after @NFL issued what seems like a compliment to Foster.
So, while he was impatiently waiting for a reply, Foster did some laundry. (See! NFL players are just like us!)
But then he got a little more impatient.
Sadly, some of us, including the NFL Network’s Albert Breer, must catch the #Linsanity by highlights or some random internet feed. (FYI: You can follow Jeremy Lin on Twitter.)
Maybe the NFL Network can pick up some Knicks games during the football offseason? Just a thought.
Jeremy Lin is enough to bring a Super Bowl MVP back to Twitter after a hiatus of just over a week. So yes, even if you’re not a huge basketball fan, the developing Jeremy Lin story should be enough to grab your attention.
Hell, even Mike Tyson is happy for Jeremy Lin.
