Monday Night Football Win for the Bears
Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Monday Night Football means a great rivalry game. The Bears beat the Packers 27-20 after Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rogers went down with an injury. The Bears snapped a six game winning streak for the Packers.
Rogers hurt his left, non-throwing arm. No word on the extent of his injury or when he will be back. The team expects to know more today.
Coach Gary Kubiak’s Diagnosis
We touched on this a little yesterday in the Blitz but we now have an official diagnosis. Sunday night, Texan’s coach Gary Kubiak collapsed on the side lines during the game. The official diagnosis is that Kubiak suffered a transient ischemic attack (TIA) which happens when a blood clot blocks an artery for a short time and affects blood flow in the brain.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday on NFL Network’s “NFL Total Access” that a TIA involves a temporary loss of function that is reversible.
Rapoport says, “It is treatable, which seems to be the reason for the optimism when you talk to Texans people.”
Best wishes to Coach Kubiak as he recovers.
