The Times-Picayune reported yesterday that the New Orleans Saints’ Martez Wilson will miss 2 to 4 weeks with an arm injury. He was injured while trying to make a tackle and left the field with trainers holding his left arm.
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced that Dennis Pita did not have any ligament or cartilage damage after he fractured and dislocated his hip on Saturday. Pita underwent surgery on Saturday night with no complications and he should be able to return for the 2014 season.
Buffalo Bills’ Mario Williams left training camp on Monday with a sore foot. There isn’t much information available but Bills coach Doug Marrone said he is being evaluated by team doctors.
Houston Texan’s Arian Foster has been suffering from a calf strain. Coach Gary Kubiak is hopeful Foster can return from this injury by midweek.
Arizona Cardinals’ Ryan Williams is battling a flare up from his surgically repaired knee. Williams came into training camp with his knee being at 80 percent.He is seeking a second medical opinion although the MRI is clean.
Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback Blaine Gabbert left practice on Monday with a right ankle injury. Gabbert told the Florida Union-Times that he was “all good” although a time table for his return has not been announced.
Aaron Hernandez Update
On Monday, Connecticut and Massachusetts police searched in and around the lake in Aaron Hernandez’s home town. It’s not exactly certain what they were searching for but divers did an extensive line search of Pine Lake and were also seen scouring the shore for evidence. You can read more on this here.
