Three Goals In The Third Period Complete Comeback

The Habs have once again demonstrated impressive strength of character. With a defecit of two goals in the third period, the Canadiens scored three goals in the third period after being down 3-1 to dispose of the Tampa Bay Lightning by a score of 4-3.

Brendan Gallagher scored the winning goal to allow his team to regain first place in the Eastern Conference with 36 points in 25 games, with a record of 16-5-4.

In addition, Michael Ryder has learned that he must give more when on the ice. After being benched in the third period last game against Carolina, the Canadiens forward picked two assists in the win and played arguably his best game as a Hab so far.

However, Brandon Prust may have injured his shoulder during this game. We will know more when Prust will be re-evaulated tomorrow prior to their game tomorrow against the Florida Panthers.
