Mac

Mac is a college student from Northern California (an English major with an emphasis in Creative Writing also minoring in Journalism, if you were wondering). She’s a stat nerd to the fullest — she’ll argue UZR and tERA at one o’clock in the morning — but she will tell people to shut up and enjoy the game at times. Baseball is her favorite sport, with the San Francisco Giants as her number one team. She also follows hockey and soccer (San Jose Sharks and FC Barcelona, respectively, and she is a Juventina), though she will admit she can’t argue about it as well as baseball. She follows the Giants’ farm team very closely, and goes to at least one minor league game a month during the season. She’ll never pass up the chance to tell the story about how she saw Madison Bumgarner rage against an umpire in a Sacramento RiverCats @ Fresno Grizzlies game in the 2010 season. She hates pitcher wins as a statistic and makes funny signs at games.
