Giants Recap: LOL Nope

If you’re here looking for a serious recap, then this ain’t the place for it.

Because tonight’s game was a disaster like a clown on Top Gear.

Tim Lincecum looked awful, there was a no-rain rain delay, and this is a night game followed by a ridiculously early starts-on-the-West-Coast-at-8-a.m. day game.

So this was a lost cause on so many levels.

And where is your personal catcher narrative now, baseball powers that be? Where is it?

Series Preview: Giants Face Nationals on Holiday

The Giants are going to do their best to soar up above the National League standings by beating the Washington Nationals and gaining some ground on the Dodgers.

Like an eagle trying to survive, the Giants are doing just that: staying up in the standings until the All-Star break.

They’ll do it this week with Tim Lincecum, Madison Bumgarner, and Matt Cain on the mound.

And some weird personal catcher situations going on, but that’s just a headache to talk about (even though Captain America Buster Posey should really be sitting on the bench instead of playing first base for an “offday”).

But yes. Wins for the Giants for a place to be in the top, like the purple mountain majesty (but not the Rockies).
