Thankfully, like Brett Lawrie’s wrist, mine is just a bruise.
I fell up the stairs at work this morning and landed hard on my left arm. It hurts to type. A lot. And since I don’t have a stenographer handy, I have to wait on writing more until I can move my fingers easily again. Hopefully tomorrow.
Two notes from this weekend:
- Jays won 2 of 3, and Jo-Jo Reyes scored his second win in a row.
- Adam Lind had a great weekend; actually, most of the starters racked up the hits (or walks). Only Nix avoided getting on base for the weekend. Nix is now batting just .083 for June with a .083 OBP; that’s right, not a single walk.
Tonight, the MLB Draft begins at 7pm! I’m curious about the Jays’ first pick; 21 overall. Then, I’ll be switching over to the game in Kansas City. Brandon Morrow takes the mound for the Jays, hoping to shake off his nasty loss against Cleveland.
