As we all know now, WR Louis Murphy is a Carolina Panther. News finally broke this evening regarding what the Raiders received in return for Murphy (a conditional 7th round pick); some are happy we got anything for him at all, some find it bogus, some are just putting their blind trust in the decisions of new boss in town, Reggie McKenzie.

What’s done is done, and like anything that happens in the offseason, we’ll have to find out how this decision plays out once the regular season is here and in full swing. I, for one, will miss Louis Murphy (specifically Louis Murphy circa 2009), but if he wanted out of Oakland, I’d rather see him head east than perhaps not give the Raiders 100% this season.
