People sure have been testy on the Twitters this week. We had this gem of a tweet from NFL Live host, Trey Wingo in regards to CNBC and NBC Sports Network’s Darren Rovell:
I’m not sure that anyone has ever died due to pretending to be czar of Twitter, but if anyone can do it, Darren Rovell can!
However, the biggest Twitter-war had to have been between WWE’s CM Punk (aka @CMPunk) and Chris Brown, which began with this tweet:
To which, Chris Brown responded (and then later deleted):
“@CMpunk needs more followers. He’s such a leader! Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women.”
CM Punk clearly took offense to having his manhood called out and being accused of being a roid-user, he responded with this video.

Obviously, Chris Brown responded (start at the bottom):
And finally (Also deleted by Brown)…
“Note: today will be the last day I bring @cmpunk existence up! The confrontations that people continuously bring my way are very amusing. Cuz honestly, that sh– is too time consuming to argue wit every person who has their own issues to deal with!”
Must be scary when someone bigger than you picks on and threatens you, huh, Chris?

Are you freakin kidding me? The fact that Chris Brown can name a bunch of RETIRED wrestlers, including some whose major fame happened before Brown was cognizant, should prove that wrestling fame is about as transient as musical. I also know significantly more about CM Punk than I do about Chris Brown (literally all I know about him is that he beat Rihanna! great PR move!).
If this turns out to just be an effort to draw heat for a Wrestlemania cameo I am going to be so disappointed. For some reason Punk seems more genuine than most wrestlers.

I’m with you. I really hope this wasn’t just a PR stunt from CM Punk. But part of me really thinks it wasn’t. The topic of Chris Brown brings out the angry in a lot of people, and CM Punk definitely wasn’t the only “celeb” to express his opinion on Twitter. Who knows?
