In an attempt at sports parity, Twitter Thursday takes a look at one of the NBA’s rising stars, Kevin Durant, more commonly referred to on Twitter as @KDTrey35.  In all actuality, I was pretty curious to see what KD has been up to during the lockout. Let’s see, shall we?

Profile picture: If you read my post from last week, you know my views on athletes posting pictures of themselves without their shirts on. Unlike Ochocinco, not too much to see here except that I am curious about the tattoo. How long do we think that took to get? Lots ‘o ink there, bud.

The bio: “IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL”  All caps, poor punctuation, the grammar?  This makes this Type A grammar nerd squirm a bit too much. No comment.

Tweets: I’m happy @Ochocinco educated me last week in the cool jargon nowadays, otherwise I probably would have spent 4x as long looking up words and phrases on urbandictionary.com this week.

I think KD and Jim Irsay could have some pretty fascinating conversations through poetry and/or song lyrics.  And by fascinating, I mean that I wouldn’t follow any of it.

KD, I’m sure it has something to do with an HBO show, probably Sex & the City.  

Must be nice being able to eat whatever you want.  I’m definitely not the least bit jealous, and that most certainly wasn’t my stomach you heard growling.

Seriously! Being forced to sit out there in the open as people walk by judging you on your food choices. Not sure why no one ever believes me when I yell out the car window to all the on-lookers “Hey, they had to go pick some more tomatoes for that fresh salad I’m getting. I’m totally not waiting on a quarter pounder and fries. I swear.” Wait, no?  *hangings head in shame*

First person to tell me what “twatchin” means wins a gold star!

It’s probably good KD plays basketball. I don’t think bowling a 119 is considered good?

Now, ladies, want to impress KD?  Wear Jordans during the day, heels at night, and make sure you can cook.

But, don’t worry, Thunder fans, when he’s not bowling or “twatchin,” he’s getting ready for next season. Can’t wait to see those D.Rose moves, KD.
