FIU Football is one of my obsessions. I look forward to game day not just because I get to tailgate with friends, but because I get to see some of my favorite men ever play their hearts out.

Such an amazing song for sports, period.  It pumps me up at the games.

2. “Times Like These” – Foo Fighters

“It’s times like these you learn to live again.” Having been a fan of FIU football for years, I can say I was there through the really tough seasons.  I’ve survived so much heartbreak. But this song has made me think of the good times we had last season, with our conference championship and bowl game championship as well. Then this year, we beat our first BCS team ever, Louisville. Loving it!

3. “Fuel” – Metallica

I love seeing my boys play hard, and this song makes me think of when they do just that.

4. “Blue & Yellow” – J. Carr

This song is so awesome. This song got me ready for the bowl game last year. So pumped!  J.Carr is an up and coming artist. Check him out on iTunes.

5. “FIU Anthem” –  Grimass and Young Rage

I remember when we beat Troy last season, we all drove to meet the team at 3ish in the morning. My friend AJ drives up in his car, windows down, and this song blasting. He had the song blasting the entire time we were there to greet the team. Good times!

6. “Boom” – P.O.D.

I think of this song when we make an amazing tackle or sack.

7. “We Will Rock You” – Queen

It’s the start of the fourth quarter and what are Panthers chanting? “We Will We Will Rock You! FIU!”

8. “I Want It All” – Queen

Yes, we want it all, and we want it now!

9. “Thunderstruck” – AC/DC

I listen to this song while getting ready for the game. Gets me all the time. Love seeing the guys run out on the field to this song.

10. “Amazing” – Kanye West

Just because FIU is so amazing.

Bonus:  “Ain’t No Other Man” – Christina Aguilera

This one is just for fun. No other football team has my heart like this team does.
