Football season has come and gone, and my beloved Dallas Cowboys had another one of those seasons: a not so good one.

Being a life-long Cowboys fan who can remember the actual domination by the team, this is disappointing, but now has become standard procedure.

Though Dallas is on a down time, well more appropriately a down decade (or almost two), they still are one of the best franchises in all of Pro football, let alone sports. People love to hate America’s team and their accomplishments.

I think of this song every time I see a player who I would have loved to be on the Cowboys, but of course is not, so this is just about everyone.

It’s been a long 17 years for the Cowboys, and it’s been hard to be a fan, but I’m still here. And will continue to be. Let’s just speed up the process, shall we?
