The second night of Kim’s Fairytale Wedding picks up right in the middle of the Khloe-Kim battle. In the midst of their fight in Part 1, Kim said she didn’t want Khloe at the wedding.
Khloe didn’t take that lightly. Even when Kim went to Vera Wang for her second dress fitting Khloe was MIA.
During that time she went to visit Mama Kris & let her know she won’t be attending Kim’s bachelorette party in Vegas. Khloe needed Mama Kris to take over the responsibilities of the bachelorette party — meaning she needed her to go to the sex store for all the party supplies.
In the next few scenes you see Mama Kris and Bruce Jenner entering the store, with Bruce of course dressed in disguise.
How does that poor guy get roped into these things?! I mean after all, he is a gold medalist being wrapped up in the Kardashian clan drama.
While the drama continues in LA, Kim and Kris Humphries are visiting his home in Minnesota. After Kim picks apart his house decor, she helps him grocery shop and then gives a pedicure to her husband-to-be. No wonder Kris wants to marry her; opportunistic or not. Kris lets her know how much it would mean to him for Kim to change her last name to Humphries.
Kim and Kris are both doing their bachelor/bachelorette parties in Vegas over the same weekend. Khloe seemed like she was still boycotting the party but in the end, surprised Kim by being in the hotel room when she arrived.
Now for the bachelorette/bachelor party time! Well they must have kept most of that under wraps because nothing too crazy occurred. I mean there was no “SHAKE YOUR T**S” or anything! Kris even ended up at Kim’s hotel room by the end of the night.
At Kim’s bridal shower, she is discussing changing her last name, which of course didn’t go down well with Mama Kris. Just like the typical Kardashian moment, she has to get the support of the rest of the Kardashian clan. However, she seems to be the only one who really cares.
Whoever decided that one wedding dress was enough had clearly not met Kim. She announced that she will be wearing 3 dresses (1 for the aisle, 1 for the dinner, and a simple dress for the after party). All made by Vera Wang.
Oh, Kim, even Cinderella only had one dress!
The argument over the last name continues. After speaking with Mama Kris and sisters, Kim decides not to change her last name and now has to tell her husband-to-be! As expected, that didn’t go over well. During a heated argument Kris gives Kim a reality check, and an even bigger fight ensues.
With only a few days until the wedding, Kim and Kris seem to already be married with all the bickering and snapping going on.
Oh, the tension. Apparently Kris becomes confused at one point and thought he was marrying “easy go barbie” instead of KIM KARDASHIAN! He seems to get annoyed with the little things like the seating chart and doesn’t understand the brand image she has created through her name.
After a few heartfelt speeches at the wedding rehearsal, Kim and Kris remember what this wedding is all about.
That’s not the only thing she remembers. Kim can’t stop thinking about her dad. She decided to cut a heart out of his shirts and sew them into her wedding dresses. Luckily, Bruce is there to save the day and help her remember what this is really about.
Kim then opens up to Kris about her dad and explains how upset she’s been that he is not here. In the next scene they make a trip to the cemetery to visit her dad. After that they decide to stop worrying over the little materialistic things and remember that the marriage is about family and love. Awww.
As expected, the wedding is absolutely beautiful. The perfect fairytale that Kim was looking for.
The venue was breathtaking; the wedding party looked amazing in white dresses and black tuxedos; the guest list was filled with A-list celebrities; and everything went perfectly. All three dresses looked amazing. Kim and Kris were glowing and filled with love.
All in all the Kardashian Event of the Century ended just the way they had hoped — drama free.
Hopefully this beautiful fairy tale continues in happily ever after.
However, this is Hollywood so only time will tell.
