Around the Web Wednesday: SNL Parodies Ryan Lochte

The season premiere of Saturday Night Live was last Saturday night (obviously). Seth MacFarlane parodies Ryan Lochte talking about the fall tv line up. Let’s have a look:

I thought Seth did a good Ryan Lochte impression but Lochte himself did not. Entertainment Weekly reported this is what he thought of the parody:

“Well, I gotta admit that was a pretty harsh one, but it’s cool to have Seth parody me. I think he pegged me wrong, but when I heard he did a skit I knew I was in for it!”

What do you all think. Was Seth MacFarland’s Ryan Lochte impression spot on?

Around the Web Wednesday- Olympic Fun

Looks like Tom Daley and the Great Britain dive squad wanted to get in on the video action. The team decided to lip synch to LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy And I Know It.” Take a look.

And now for some Ryan Lochte gifs. You’re welcome.

A (Fake) Interview With Ryan Lochte

(I just read this article from the HuffPost that goes through Ryan Lochte’s thoughts on dating and women in general.  Naturally, I decided to make up my own interview with Ryan Lochte using his quotes…often out of context.)

THESE ARE ACTUAL RYAN LOCHTE QUOTES…

Me:  So, Ryan, can I call you Ryan? I’m happy you could take some time out of your busy schedule to chat a bit about your personal life.  So, is there a girl friend we should know about.  Oh, your mom has something to say?

RyLo’s Mom: “He goes out on one-night stands.  He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.”

Me:  Umm…Ok.  Noted?  That’s a weird thing for you to know.  Well, uh if you weren’t so busy what would you look for in a partner?

RyLo: ”Is there decent girl out there who doesn’t lie? They all lie. They’re all evil. I just want to meet someone who is real, who is honest … who wants to love me as a person.”

Around the Web Wednesday- Kobe’s Wish

Kobe Bryant is headed to London on the US Olympic basketball team but his only goal isn’t to win another gold medal. Bryant is a huge Harry Potter fan and has expressed interest in meeting the book’s writer, JK Rowling.

This is not the first time Kobe has expressed he is a fan of the Harry Potter series. In 2010, he did an interview for GQ and said that his experience in 2008 at the Olympics was ’like Harry Potter going to Hogwarts’.

Let’s hope someone can make Kobe’s wish come true.
