This week’s MMM (or should we say MMMMM) is inspired by my first trip to see the Cardinals in action this year - where I had the privilege of seeing Mad Mike in the flesh.  Without further ado, I present the new skipper of the reigning World Champion St. Louis Cardinals, Mike Matheny.

Let’s just say he’s gotten the ladies’ (and I’m sure a few gentlemen’s) attention in Cardinal Nation…

Let’s not forget that before he was filling out the line-up card in St. Louis, he spent a few years behind the plate for the Birds on the Bat.

Clearly, we like the feisty ones here at The Pulse.  Did I mention the 4 gold gloves (3 of which were with the Cardinals)?

And that he’s quite limber?
