Remember Paul Hamm?

Paul and his twin brother Morgan are gymnastic dynamos, part of U.S. teams that competed — and earned medals — at the Olympics. Paul, in fact, won the all-around competition in 2004.

I never really heard either of their names come up after that. Until now.

Paul Hamm was fired as Ohio State’s assistant gymnastics coach following his arrest over allegedly assaulting a cab driver. Hamm faces three misdemeanor charges and has a Thursday court date.

His arrest was caught on tape, where — after repeated moans of “Why? Why?” — we hear him tell officers “I’m going to kill you guys.”

Oh, he’s a smart one. Threatening police officers. That’ll go over really well.
