The St. Louis Rams have just announced their number assignments for the rookie class. 

Also, a quick  look at what other famous NFL players have worn those numbers.  Maybe the rooks can channel the number’s football history.

Robert Quinn (DE) – #94 : DAL OLB DeMarcus Ware

Lance Kendricks (TE) –  #88 : DAL WR Michael Irvin & PIT WR Lynn Swann.

Austin Pettis (WR) – #83 :  NE WR Wes Welker.

Greg Salas (WR) –  #87 : OAK TE Dave Casper.

Jermale Hines (S) – #21 : OJ Atogwe’s old number.  As well as Prime Time’s. Lots to live up to.

Mikail Baker (CB) – #41 : Rams CB Todd Lyght’s old number.

Jabara Williams (LB) – #52 : The late great PIT C Mike Webster.

Jonathan Nelson (S) – #26 : OAK/HOF CB Rod Woodson.
