The ongoing question about who was the greatest player ever in Packer history will always have a different response, but one person in particular has given Brett Favre the title.
Ron Wolf, former general manager of the Packers, stated that Favre was indeed the best player in Packers history.
Of course Green Bay has had its fair share of amazing players through the years, but Wolf is set on Favre.
Although the so called “break up” between Favre and Green Bay wasn’t the most ideal situation and left many Packers fans bitter, the legacy of Favre will carry on forever.
Aaron Rodgers obviously is creating a legacy for himself as we speak in Green Bay, one that will always be remembered as well. As far as who the best player in Packer history really is, everyone will have their own answer.
I don’t think it’s fair to compare the two….as of right now anyway. Aaron is still in the midst of his career, so after he is done and retires from the league, then we can come back and compare and contrast the careers of each of these Packer greats.
But until then, why not check out some side by side shots of the two?!
