With week 1 in the books, it’s all eyes on QB Matt Ryan and WR Julio Jones who were hands down the crowd pleasers in the Falcons 40-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. But, this is old news and way to obvious so all eyes ahead to Denver for week 2’s matchup as the Falcons plan to continue to impress.
Manning isn’t going to make this an easy job for the Falcon’s who have no time to mourn the loss of cornerback Brent Grimes’ who was placed on injured reserve. With a hole in the Falcon’s roster already, Manning is no fool when it comes to isolating the opponent’s weakness.
Ryan‘s new offensive tactics are a far cry from last season’s run-oriented offense. He’s far more protected keeping his line close and passes tight which will give the Broncos a tough run as he continues to make quick short passes up the field to keep the clock ticking and the line moving into the endzone.
With the Falcons-Bronco’s being the main event on Monday, the Falcon’s defense is going to have to sync it up to prevent Manning from getting a lead. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that Ryan will out perform Manning with the velocity he built up in week one. He’s carrying this straight over to the Dome with home field advantage and built up confidence. This may be the beginning of a new season, but this sure isn’t beginners luck for the Falcons. It’s Matt Ryan.
