Jets Sign OT Paul Cornick

The Jets have added another versatile offensive lineman to the roster, signing UDFA OT Paul Cornick from North Dakota State.

GM Mike Tannenbaum announced the signing Thursday afternoon, making the move official.

The 6’6″, 309 pound lineman tried out for the team in minicamp earlier this spring. He will re-join the team on July 27th for the start of training camp.

Cornick played right guard and saw playing time at both the left and right tackle positions at North Dakota State. He earned 2011 AFCA FCS Coaches’ All-America first-team honors as a member of school’s first NCAA Division I championship team. He was unfortunately unable to participate in the combine because of a lumbar spine injury.

Cornick brings the roster to 88, leaving two spots available..
