The Jets season opener against the Bills will be the battle of the defense more than the offense. The first point I would like to talk about is the front 4 of the Jets defense. The addition of  Coples along with Mo Wilkerson will elevate the Jets pass rush in addition to allowing Rex to create difference schemes; this flexibility will be a great asset.

Second point I like to mention is that the run game will be enhanced with Shonn Greene and Tebow in the backfield . Tebow  will be utilized in third down situations as well as coming in to the play the Wildcat.  The way the Jets have guarded this plan with so much secrecy is not only advantageous, but also exciting.

Lastly, I want to say that we should forget the preseason because that usually doesn’t indicate how a team will play in the regular season.  This year you’ll see Mark Sanchez finally morph into the quarterback the Jets hoped he would be when they first drafted him back in 2009. He will finally be completing passes more than 7 yards and with Tony Sparano’s new offensive, there will be opportunities for some big plays. The strength of the offense lies in the “Ground and Pound” running game — with it being solid, there will more opportunities for Santonio Holmes to have one on one with defensive backs, which will in turn allowing Mark to complete those big plays.

Bold prediction of the season? The Jets by the end of the season will have number 1 rushing attack in NFL and it will all start this Sunday.
