Yes, Revis showed up to training camp and Jets football is underway. Here’s some of the headlines from the first day of training camp:
Darrelle Revis Says He Was Close To Holding Out Before Reporting to Training Camp >> Revis did show up to training camp, so that nightmare is over. Or is it? Reports indicate that their is friction between the Jets front office and the Revis camp (just as I suspected)
Rex Ryan Advises Santonio Holmes >> Rex Ryan had a few choice comments for Santonio Holmes, who recently sounded off on NFL Network about the Jets 2-QB system. Ryan told Sal Paolantonio
“Well, I understand what Holmes is saying, you know Tone’s talking about a guy … (the starting quarterback) has to get a feel and all that kind of stuff. But I brought Santonio in here to be a receiver, not to be the offensive coordinator. And that’s the way it is.
“I love Santonio, but if I wanted to hire him as our offensive coordinator, we would’ve.”
Tim Tebow Makes Mark Sanchez Better >> Yep. And if you saw the pics of Sanchez’s guns from today, you might also believe he’s motivated Mark to get in a few extra reps on the weight room too.
- Sanchez added 12 pounds of muscle this off-season. He’s sporting some serious guns.
- The Jets announced that they activated S LaRon Landry from team’s Active Physically Unable to Perform list.
- Rookie OL Robert T. Griffin deleted his Twitter account today. Many suspect Griffin failed his physical. Stay tuned for more on this.
