Marquette Takes on Georgetown for Senior Day

Jae and DariusIt’s senior day in Milwaukee as the Marquette Golden Eagles take on the Georgetown Hoyas.

Marquette is coming off an abismal loss to Cincinnati but are still assured one of the top spots in the Big East tournament. The loss on Wednesday ended a five game winning streak for the Golden Eagles.

The last time Marquette faced Georgetown, the Hoyas overcame a 17 point deficit to beat Marquette 73-70. Let’s hope Marquette’s transition defense looks better this time around.

Georgetown is coming off a win over Notre Dame. They held the Fighting Irish to 33 percent shooting on all field goal attempts and 18 percent on 3-point shooting.

Marquette is back at home and it’s senior day. Let’s hope that Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom get a win on their last regular season game.
