Marquette recruit T.J. Taylor has been granted a release from Marquette citing personal reasons.
Coach Buzz Williams announced this earlier today. Williams says, ”“In TJ’s best interest, he has withdrawn from school today for personal reasons. As a program, we are in complete support of his decision and we wish him all the best in his future as a student-athlete.”
As a freshman (2010-2011), Taylor signed with the Sooners but never played due to a shoulder injury.
Terms of the release have not been given.
