Tortorella Is Mad, Pacioretty Gets A Hearing.

Welcome to John Tortorella World, where losing yet again by the Montreal Canadiens wasn’t enough. Obviously trying to deflect from the poor effort of the New York Rangers last night at the Bell Centre, where they haven’t won in six attempts and Carey Price added a third straight shutout against the Rangers in Montreal, he did a pretty good job at making everyone not talk about the Rangers horrible start to this shortended season and onto Max Pacioretty and his questionable hit on Ryan McDonagh.

Torts is feeling the heat, no doubt. But what will happen to Pacioretty? He has a hearing today with the NHL on the hit, even though Ryan McDonagh’s hit on Pacioretty just minutes before into the boards got no penalty and no review from the league.

Opinions on either hit?

We will see around 4PM what the verdict is for Pacioretty.

DISCUSSION: One Response

  1. My opinion on the hits? Neither was legal and I have no idea how McDonagh got away with his. (Although Andrew Shaw did same thing to Joe Pavelski Friday night so I guess that’s how.)

As for Torts he isn’t mad, he’s deflecting talk from his team. That’s what he does all the time. Half the teams in the league do the same thing when their team is in a slump. If Habs fans thought he would compliment them on their play last night, they don’t know who they are dealing with lol. Honestly, I would ignore Torts if I was the opponent, but that’s just me.
