Habs Rally Back, Win 4-2 Against Canes.

The word “character” will come up again with this comeback win against the Carolina Hurricanes. During the third period at the PNC Arena, Lars Eller and P.K. Subban scored to restore a two-goal lead for the Habs after letting their 2-0 lead slip away in the 2nd period. With the win, they maintain first place in the Eastern Conference with a total of 34 points in 24 games. With the loss, the Hurricanes saw their streak (four wins) end.

Brandon Prust distinguished himself in this win, picking up three points (1 goal, 2 assists), the first time in his career he has had a 3-point game. Lars Eller (1 goal, 2 assists) also racked up three points against the Canes. Additionally, dman Josh Gorges (1 goal, 1 assist) earned two points in Raleigh, a rarity for him.

The Canadiens will continue their road trip in Tampa when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night at 7PM.
