Last year people got all pissed off at me when I asked you guys to guess which game would be the Houston Astros 100th loss of the season. I wasn’t a “real fan” or a “good fan” or a “loyal fan.” Whatever. It was a fun way to face the inevitable.
Let’s do it again!!! Now, last year, it was earlier in the season, I believe, that we played this little game making it a wee bit tougher. So this year – it’s a two parter.
Part one - What game will be the Astros 100th loss of the season?
Part two - What game will be the Astros 107th loss, besting their 106 losses of 2011?
What do you win? Well, you get bragging rights. And if you’d like, you’re welcome to join me at a game before the season ends. If you can tell me who the starting pitcher will be for the 106th loss, I’ll buy you a beer.
The Astros are currently 42-95….so just 5 losses to go. The earliest the 100th could come would be against the White Sox here in Houston on September 11th.

How am I just now seeing this?

P.S. you say the earliest the 100 could happen is when we play the White Sox…you mean the Baby Bears?
