In New York, reports came out Saturday about the passing of John Idzik Sr., former Jets offensive coordinator and father of John Idzik Jr., the current general manager for the Jets. According to the Jets website, Idzik Sr. passed away last Tuesday at the age of 85.
Former Jets and Bengals quarterback and current CBS analyst Boomer Esaiason was honored and chosen as an ACC legend. Esaiason was honored in Charlotte during the ACC title game.
The Philadelphia Eagles website has an interesting “Where are they now” type of profile for former secondary player Bobby Taylor.
