Good news, everyone!

According to ESPN, Ike Taylor has signed a four year agreement to stay with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The terms of the deal have not been announced.

One of my biggest questions post-Lockout was “Will the Steelers participate in the Ike Taylor sweepstakes?” Well, it looks like we have an answer. It’s no secret that the Steelers’ secondary is the weakest aspect of a stellar defense. Letting Taylor walk would have been a huge mistake. This isn’t to say that the issues with the secondary are fixed, but it’s better than a gaping hole in the secondary.
