OTAs are underway, which means news. Huzzah!
- Ben Roethlisberger says he is having “no trouble” with new offensive coordinator Todd Haley. After Arians’ “retirement” and Haley’s introduction there seemed to be plenty of drama between the quarterback and the new coordinator. Not so, says Roethlisberger.
“People blew it way out of proportion,” Roethlisberger told KDKA-TV on Monday. “It’s something new, we’re getting to know each other … There’s no trouble between us at all.”
I’m sure they’ll be making friendship bracelets for each other in no time.
- Surprise! Troy Polamalu actually attended today’s OTA session. Polamalu normally skips OTAs, electing to work out with his trainer. With the release of James Farrior this past off-season, I’m sure Troy is stepping up his leadership role.
“It’s my time to be around the team a little more,” Polamalu said.
Good call, Troy.
