We interrupt Wallace Watch 2012 to inform you on other Steelers matters. Mainly, the status of Rashard Mendenhall’s knee.
Mendenhall tore his ACL in the final game of the regular season against the Browns. Many believe that Mendenhall will begin the season on the physically unable to perform list and may not play at all.
So how has Mendenhall’s knee been doing?
Rashard recently took to twitter and tweeted that his knee “has healed wonderfully.” While Mendenhall didn’t give a timetable for his return, this is promising. I’m sure he’s feeling the pressure considering there’s a horde of running backs chomping at the bit to claim his starting spot.
We now return you to Wallace Watch 2012.
