Mendenhall And Clark Probable For Sunday

Good news, everyone!

Good news, everyone!

Good news everyone!

Rashard Mendenhall and Ryan Clark are listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. With the injury issues the Steelers have faced this season, “probable” is a magical word.

Mendenhall has seen limited playing time this season due to the knee injury he suffered at the end of last season as well as the Achilles injury he suffered against the Titans. Clark is coming off his second concussion in three weeks.

As expected, Ben Roethlisberger, Troy Polamalu, Antonio Brown, and Marcus Gilbert will be out for the Steelers. Roethlisberger will be out indefinitely with his shoulder/rib injury. Steel City Blitz contributor Melanie Friedlander discussed her take on Big Ben’s injury in her latest House Calls article.

It figures that the Steelers will be without their top players just in time for the first Ravens game of the season. But look on the bright side. At least the Steelers will finally have their entire running back corp ready for a game, and Ryan Clark will be ready to punish receivers who go over the middle of the field. It’s not much, but it’s something.
