Thank You Cleveland and Minnesota!
After a terrible weekend and road trip, the Sox found themselves out of first place. Tonight, they can celebrate having a share of first again thanks to a Detroit loss and taking care of their own business by beating the Twins by a final of 11-4. The Sox have won the series and have a chance to do some household cleaning tomorrow afternoon.
The Sox got the scoring started in the bottom of the first innings scoring on a beautiful Twins error. They would give the lead up in the sixth inning when Jamey Carroll would hit a three-run home run to make the score 4-2.
