Ok, it is finally here. We are 35 games into the season and FINALLY Adam Dunn obliged us with a no strikeout game. It actually happened in game 33 on Friday night, May 11, 2012.

In any event, it is finally here! We finally can be excited that he had a game where he didn’t strikeout.

As promised, I am going to continue keeping track of these magical occurrences. While he was streaking with 36 consecutive games (dating back to last season) of striking out at least once each game, I haven’t been *too* annoyed with his strikeouts this season. Mainly because he has been working the count.
In any event, over on the sidebar, you can click to see what the games are, who the opponent is and what is stat line for the night was in each of those games.
Hopefully, it won’t take too many games before we can start making a list of those games. Last season he had at least 12 games where he didn’t strikeout. This season, I am thinking maybe he might get close to 20 games played during the season with no strikeout. How many do you think he will get? Let me know in the comments.
