Baseball on Father’s Day? Sounds like the perfect thing to do. Especially since many people learned about sports, in particular baseball from dad.

Today, Robin is sending out the following in hopes of a win:

L’Il Bridge 3B, Bacon 2B, Big Donkey 1B, The Cuban Tank LF, Alex Rios RF, Jordan Danks CF, Tyler Flowers C, Eduardo Escobar SS.

Jose Quintana will bat ninth and start for the Pale Hose today. Jose has done everything and more for the Sox since being recalled to take John Danks’ spot in the rotation.

He has given the team a chance to win each time he has gone to the mound. His last start was against the Cardinals where he picked up the win. e allowed just one earned run on 10 hits in five innings. Today will be his first career appearance against the Dodgers.

41-25 this season

Don Mattingly will send out the following guys in hopes of a Father’s Day win:

Dee Gordon SS, Elian Herrera LF, Juan Rivera 1B, Andre Ethier RF, Jerry Hairston 2B, Juan Uribe 3B, Tony Gwynn, Jr. CF, Matt Treanor C.

Chris Capuano will bat ninth and start for the Dodgers. Today will be is first career appearance against the White Sox.

In his last appearance, Chris received a no-decision against the Angels. He allowed two runs on eight its in five innings. Te Dodgers ended up losing that game by a final of 3-2.

In interleague play, Capuano has a record of 7-6 with a 5.22 ERA. This is over 17 career games, 16 of which have been starts.

*Notes: Paul Konerko ranks second all-time with 56 career Interleague Plague home runs. Andre Ethier leads the National League with 55 RBI and Tuesday night drove in his 500th career run.
