The rumors were swirling for quite a while.This morning it was almost a certainty.

Now it appears to be official. The White Sox have acquired Kevin Youkilis from the Red Sox. Appears it is for a utility player and a pitcher. Names have not been revealed yet, but it is assumed reently demoted Zach Stewart is the pitcher. If this is the case, it could be quite a steal for the right Sox.

*Update: Per Jon Heyman of CBS, Brent Lillibridge is the utility player. Serious sad face if Lilli is leaving. 

Ken Rosenthal is reporting that Lillibridge is going along with Zach Stewart. The White Sox will also get a significant amount of cash in the deal. 

Scott Merkin says a source for MLB.com has confirmed the deal is Lillibridge and Stewart for Youkilis. Apparently, Lilli was a big part of the deal. 

Ken Rosenthal says the Sox will get $5.5 million in the deal.
