Brendan Mikkelson gets picture honors for returning to the lineup after his conditioning stint in Syracuse.I just don’t know what to say anymore.  This team can’t be bothered to try before the 3rd period and it’s costing them games.

• Mathieu Garon was stellar under siege. I’d look for him to continue playing while he’s hot – it’s a shame the team in front of him can’t reward him.
• Marty St. Louis scored on a nice deflection. It’s guys like Marty, Teddy, and Conacher that need to stop passing and shoot the puck more often.
• See you Saturday afternoon for a matinee in Boston. Here’s hoping the team gets off the bus.
