At the risk of sounding half my age, I really did highly enjoy the search process for this week’s Midweek Muscles. Come on, give me a break. I love talking about the game, seeing remarkable saves and beautiful free kicks … but I also enjoy the eye candy. My choice for this week definitely has the “eye candy” label on lock down. Ladies (and those 10 percent of men out there), say hello to Lance Parker.

Rarely do the ladies of Aerys Soccer come across a plethora of muscle-showing pics for our Midweek Muscles choices. From RSL’s Chris Wingert and the Quakes adorable Chris Wondolowski, we’ve had our fair share of modest hotties. This week, I found myself with an abundance of fantastic shots to chose from. Lance, if you are reading this, let me just thank you now.

Stats … um, right, information about Lance. He’s the 6-foot-4 goalkeeper for North American Soccer League’s FC Edmonton based out of Canada. Before finding a home with his current NASL team, 26-year-old Lance was all about MLS, from the Colorado Rapids U23s in 2007 to a stint with Chivas USA from 2008-09.

Whew, is anyone else’s heads spinning from these pics? I’m just going to end the attempt now and enjoy the rest of what Lance has to offer.

Conclusion: Lance Parker – kick ass goalkeeper, gorgeous smile, amazing abs. Like I said, thanks Lance for not being too particular about taking off your jersey… and more. We appreciate it! All of it.
