Ahead of Saturday’s game against New England Revolution, the Red Bulls went head to head with Real Salt Lake Feb. 13. While everyone says this is just a journey and not a destination when it comes to this display – one thing was for certain – both teams have lots to prove. And while Real Salt Lake might have leveled up with the acquisition of former LA Galaxy goalkeeper, Josh Saunders, one thing was for certain – 17 year old goalkeeper, Santiago Castano is one to watch.

Early goals from Plata and Grossman were surprises for the young Castano who has stepped in while Ryan Meara recovers from his hip injury that put him out back in August. But the Red Bulls bounced back before halftime with a goal from Olave and later on by Michael Bustamante. Wednesday’s game gives New York improvement for its preseason record to 2-0-1.
