Vikings FB Jerome Felton was arrested early Saturday morning for a second-degree DWI with the refusal to submit a chemical test, according to Hennepin County jail records.

Felton was released on bond near noon today, with an appearance in court scheduled for July 18th at 8:15.

In a statement by a Vikings spokesperson, the Vikings noted they “are aware of the situation and working to gather more information.  We’ll have no further comment at this time.”

Felton’s agent, Sean Howard, declined comment to 1500ESPN.

Felton was signed by the Vikings this off-season to help replace the loss of retiring FB Jim Kleinsasser.
