The Braves are notorious for streaks. 14 straight division titles. Longest continuous running franchise in all of professional American sports. They have some bad ones, bad and sorry streaks that this writer (and die hard fan) will neither repeat nor want to remember. This one is so random, I had to share this anomaly with you.

The Braves has a case of the Mondays for sure. The Braves have had woes this 2012 season, but none this strange.

The Braves are 0-12 on Mondays this year. In those 12 losses, the Braves have mustered up 18 runs. The streak permeated with the 2-1 defeat at the pitching arm of Josh Johnson and division rivals Miami Marlins, who allowed one hit through 6 scoreless innings on Monday.

Maybe THAT’S why Uggla is hitting below the Mendoza line….
